Drunk Nights

Why do we need drunk nights
to lift ourselves this curse of secrecy,
of the large wall that surrounds us
in our castles so mighty,
protecting the brain and heart,
from evil villains.

With a dragon hugging the tower,
and gators swimming in the motes,
We sit up here protected
in mint condition for one man
to someday unwrap
the treasure inside of us,
this man our knight in shining armor.

Waiting is a difficult thing

You don’t have to love me any differently from anyone else you’ve loved.
You just have to love me for who I am as I [will] love you for who you are.

“Morning Hug”

Haha! So I knew it! There is such thing
As a Morning Hug-maybe the
Morning Hug which I have been waiting for
And like an unskilled poet I will just tell
You more clearly, more articulately
Than metaphorically or round aboutedly
That I had only known mourning hugs
Not Morning Hugs. Do you see the pun here?
Not to say that I have only hugged on Sad occasion or said occasion, but to say that I have hugged on occasion
Meaning when there was something to celebrate or to grieve over.
Megan Chen gave me a Morning Hug today. And again I may correct it to be
The Morning Hug, the only one I have received so far in my 19 years alive by anybody
Outside my own kin.
Let’s not forget the Mourning Hug nor the Morning Hug because we need them both. On occasion and for no occasion..
